Actions Copy Reference SetA list view with reference data Actions Copy Reference Set
The Copy Reference Set form enables you to copy reference data for the selected entity. You can select the Actions Copy Reference Set option only if you have the Entity Sets and Entity Set Uses - Edit privilege. For more information, see Privileges view.
If you have added an entity set and an entity set use to segregate reference data for the selected list view, use the Copy Reference Set form to copy similar reference data from another entity set and modify the records as needed. This option is useful if most of the records are the same and only some modifications are needed for the segregated data. For more information, see Entity Set view and Entity Set Use view.
The Actions Copy Reference Set option is not available for Containers view (on page 1), Chassis view (on page 1), Trailers views (on page 1), Entity Set view, Entity Set Use view and Commodities view in N4.
To copy a reference set:
From the Entity Set drop-down list, select the entity set that you want to copy data from.
The drop-down list displays only existing entity sets other than the current entity set, for the operator. To add an entity set, see Entity Set form.
Click Save.
